Agnus Dei - The Lamb of God

The reference to Christ as the Lamb of God appears in the first chapter of the Gospel of John. In the Gospel reading, John the Baptist sees Jesus approaching him to be Baptized. John exclaims, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
